Travel : Mürren & Gimmelwald,Swiss

Hi guys,
So,what we did the next day in Swiss? Our guesthouse is in the middle of two famous tourism spots which one is Interlaken and another one is Lauterbrunnen.

So,that morning we planned to head to Lauterbrunnen and the interesting places nearby. We had no specific plans actually, just saw what we might see or do on the way.So the first place we stopped that day was at Trummelbachfälle,a few series of waterfalls in Lauterbrunnen Valley.Upon arrival,we were informed that kids under 4 years are not allowed to enter the waterfall area :(
So,what can we do but to oblige the rule.

So then,we drove some more in the direction of Jungfrau. On the way we came across a place with a few paragliders and many cars that caught our eyes. It's actually the foothills/cable car site to the top of several peaks including Gimmelwald,Mürren,Bergbahn and the highest in the region Schilthorn, also known as Pitz Gloria,a famous place of one of the 007 series back in 1963.

However,we just took the cable car to Mürren top as the price tickets are still reliable to our budget and time haha.

Oh,yes,if you're wondering, everything here is freaking expensive.Afterall,it's Swiss we're talking about :P.But well,it's one of the most beautiful countries in the world and it attracts many tourists all over the world to come and enjoy its nature.

Arriving on top of Mürren village and were greeted with this view of Jungfrau peak and several others.

This place is apparently famous for skiing in Winter and hiking in Summer. But since now is off-season,many restaurants, cafes and guesthouses are closed till winter comes.

Travel : Lake Brienz & Interlaken,Swiss

Continue of my Swiss trip last month. After Lake Lungern,we drove towards Interlaken on steep roads going up the hill but later when we were on the flat roads again, the view started changing from only forests on both right and left road to this kind of view :)

Exited at Lake Brienz and spent some time mesmerizing the nature beauty.

After Lake Brienz,we drove some more to the last point of the day,Interlaken.Interlaken is a small town, but famous among tourists especially among Asian tourists these days because it offers a great natural views in every inch of the city.Especially, from this city, the visitors can see a little view of Jungfrau, the highest Alps point that is reachable by train in Europe.

As for me,some time ago,I watched a Malaysian Tv-series which made the shooting at this beautiful small Swiss town.I had dream ever since to come here and enjoy its beauty by myself :)

Interlaken is also famous amongst tourists as Paragliding or skydiving site.We saw quite a number of paragliders that evening started from Harder Kulm, the highest view point in Interlaken, which the service most likely operated by several companies in the town.Well, paragliding might not be new to many,on the next day in Mürren we even bumped into several people coming all the way from Canada for wingsuit flying which I call it suicidal sport!Crazy extreme sport.

Weekend : Wandering in Vineyards

I almost forget about our trip in the vineyards last Sunday. It was a lovely day although a bit chilly, and so we headed to Bad Canstatt where Stuttgart's biggest vineyards are located.Well,we would not come here in other seasons, but it is so colorful in autumn,so we always make it a yearly event to come here in Autumn.

Stuttgart is well-known with its vineyards throughout Germany actually.

Till then people.
Bye.

Budak suka bertenggek ni bila tengok mak dia nak ambil gambar :P

On the way back,we stopped by at our favourite Persian restaurant in the city center.it has been over a year since the last time we came here.I miss its saffron rice and lamb cutlets teribbly :)

Weekend : Neuschwanstein in Autumn

Last Saturday we decided to hit the road again heading to the fairy-tale castle. Why I name it fairy-tale castle?Because it was a foggy day when were there and we could only have a peep of the castle behind the fog, making it look so fairy :)

Second this is the castle that inspired the Disney castle. This is the fairy Neuschwanstein,a very famous tourism destination located in the south of Germany in the region of Schwangau,Bayern/Bavaria.

It was my third time there and the first for our beloved daughter.Although the weather was not the best that day,but we were so satisfied that we arrived here in the colorful autumn. We decided to hike up the mountain going up the castle than taking the bus this time because we wanted to the enjoy the colors of autumn along the way.It was a good decision as many leaves were in various color hues.We were so excited and took a lot of photos.

Here are some of the pictures we took that day.Hope you guys enjoy them as much as I do.

Thanks and have a nice week!
