Christmas 2015

Salam guys,
This year's christmas we decided to stay at home rather than going traveling somewhere.Well,we have travel plans after New year, tough, and we're expecting some guests tonight. So we as the hosts already planned several things to do and places to visit! It's gonna be a lot fun!

Last year we were at in laws' house on christmas, but this year we skipped christmas :P
We hope to make it again at their place next year.

Although we were just at home, husband cooked us a special german dish for the Xmas lunch called "Chicken Schnitzel" or for us Malaysians known as chicken chop but the chicken is cooked different way.Always enjoy this simple but tasty dish.

After that we decided to take a stroll at a hill nearby since weather was perfectly warm and sunny.Talking about weather,it feels weird that we have a very warm winter this year.As much as I hate winter coldness, but I have to be honest,I kinda miss it,especially the snow.

Well, winter is still long,so let's wait for the winter wonderland to arrive :)

How was your christmas holiday spent?

Chicken Schnitzel, the chicken is made flat by using special kitchen hammer, and then coated with bread crumbs and shallow fried with either vegetable fat or oil.

Our OOTDs

On top of the Birkenkopf.See how sunny the weather was.One can even see as far as the mountain yesterday from here

After coming home,I decided to make Eikrapfen/Egg Choux that is quite famous here during christmas season.Last year in Cologne,I ate tons of these and miss them,so I googled some easy recipe and started whipping the ingredients.

The texture of Eikrapfen from inside. It is the same ingredients used for making cream puff that is famous in Malaysia, but instead of baking them in the oven,I deep-fried them and coat with sugar like classical donuts.

Recipe : Homecooking

Hi guys,
We're back again in the cooking segment.Sorry for a little hiatus these past few days as I was quite occupied with several things simultaneously.Life is good, anyway :)

Moist Chocolate Cake

When I was still working in Malaysia,I used to craved after this moist chocolate cake.I never made it on my own, because I can simply buy at Petronas station almost everywhere with Mesra shops.
So,lately,I've been craving for one,so I googled a good and easy recipe and whipped on my own.

For the recipe

1)Whip one big egg together with 1/2 cup of vegetable oil,1/2 cup of fine sugar and 1/2 cup of condensed milk. 2)Sift 1 cup of flour,1/2 cup of chocolate powder,1/2 tsp of Baking powder and 1/2 tsp of Soda Bicarbonate. 3)Add the flour mixture into the batter in no. 1 using spatula and mix slowly and carefully. 4)Add in 1/2 cup of hot water into the batter and again mix carefully and slowly. 5)Bake in the oven for 30 minutes or so at 180 degree celcius.

For the Ganache

1)On a heat stove in a pot,add 1/2 cup of chocolate powder,3 Tbs of condensed milk,1 Tbs vegetable oil,2 Tbs butter and water. 2)Keep stirring until diluted and check the consistency of the ganache by adding water accordingly. 3)Pour on the chilled cake and enjoy!

Beef in Spicy Soy Sauce/Daging Masak Kicap Pedas

My favourite dish inspired by a dish of nasi kandar in Malaysia :P

For the recipe

1)Beef cut into medium thick slices and pre-boiled until cooked thoroughly or half cooked 2)Blend Red onion,a few garlic and a little bit of ginger 3)In the same blender blend pre-boiled dried chilli,we need maybe 4-5 Tbs of this later 4)Now heat the pan with a little bit of oil,and saute the 4 types of the herbs(kulit kayu manis, bunga lawang, bunga cengkih and buah pelaga) until fragrant 5)Now add the blended onion and later the chilli, let it cook for a while until you see the bubbles of oil popping out, then added the pre-boiled beef. 6)Keep stirring and now add the sweet soy sauce/kicap manis as much as you want. 7)Add a little of water, adjust according to your liking, you can add little water if you want the gravy to be thick,or otherwise. 8)Now add the pre-boiled potato(I didn't put last time) and big slice cut of red onion and some red chillis if you want 9)Season with salt and pepper and ready!

One pot Spaghetti Marinara

My second experiment with one pot pasta. This time I tried making Spaghetti Marinara/Seafood using this fuss-free.Only that I don't put the seafood from the beginning because they tend to shrink over time. So,I put the seafood(Shrimp and mussels) only 10 minutes prior to serving.

For the Recipe

1)Dump spaghetti, diced red onion, diced tomato, thick tomato paste ,black pepper, salt, and water in one pot. 2)Cook until the spaghetti is al dente and the water is 70 % soaked by the ingredients inside. 3)You can also add the seafood now and cook some more until the water is almost 90% soaked. 4)At this point you can also adjust the taste by adding salt and pepper rather than putting together at the beginning.

Chicken Rice

As a Malaysian,I dare to say that chicken rice is a must menu once in while. It's very easy to make, and I still remember this is the dish I cooked at secondary school, and it was a hit!

Chicken rice my version

1)Cut the chicken parts accordingly 2)Boil the chicken in water covering the whole chicken.Estimate how much water you need by taking into account that we need to use the broth for cooking the rice and to make the soup3)When the chicken is cooked, take out the chicken, put in a bowl and marinade with sweet soy sauce/kicap manis, oyster sauce, black pepper,a Tbs of honey and salt and let it corporate well for a while. 4)Now we have to cook the rice.Wash and rinse the rice accordingly, put the chicken broth we made before, add some chicken cube, salt(if needed),a bit of turmeric to give the yellow color and few cuts of butter 5)Now we want to cook the soup.In the leftover of chicken broth, add sup bunjut,4 rempah sekawan, chicken cube, cut onion, celery, salt and pepper. 6)For the sauce, this time I didn't prepare the special sauce because I was too lazy :P.I just add chilli sauce,a little bit of the soup and Thai sweet sauce :P 7)When everything is ready, don't forget to fry the chicken(this time though I baked them in the oven, but frying tastes a lot better :P),serve with cucumber, ice salad, and tomato.

Apam Gula Hangus

One time while browsing through my fb,I came across this recipe and this used to be my favourite kuih back in my old company.I have a steamer pot,and all the ingredients are in house. So why wait?I whipped the ingredients and these came out.So yummy. So,I might share the recipe I found on fb as well here if you're interested.

For the recipe(I made only half of the recipe, please double or triple whenever you like)

1)First caremelized 1/2 cup the sugar in a pot until it turns golden brownish and at this point, add 1/2 cup of hot water slowly so that the hot caramelized sugar point spark outside the pot and hit you. 2)In a blender, add 1 egg,1 Tbs of condensed milk(susu pekat) and 1 Tbs butter, and blend well until all is incorporated. 3)Now add the caramelized sugar and 1/2 tsp of Soda Bicarbonate and blend again. 4)Add 3/4 of flour inside the batter and blend a little bit more 5)Pour the batter in the desired mould(I used silicon mini mould for gugelhupf cakes) and steam in the steamer for 30 minutes or until the batter grows bigger and cooked well. 6)Serve with dessicated coconut mixed with a lil' bit of salt

Beef filled Cannelloni

We brought back mainly food only from our Italy trip :P.I love Italian food and always cook some dishes at home. One of my favourites is Beef Cannelloni, but in Germany it is actually quite difficult to find the Cannelloni sheets sold in the supermarket. So In Italy I bought the cannelloni sheets and my husband said it was such a good idea because he also like my cooked beef cannelloni. So we repeated second time in a week!

For the recipe

1)For the filling.First roast the minced meat in a pan until cooked and the juice comes out. 2)Add diced onion and/or chopped tomato and cook some more 3)Add Tomato paste,or pasta sauce, but make sure that it is not too watery,we want to the keep the filling close to dry 4)Season with salt, pepper and oregano or Italian herbs. 5)Now we have to prepare the white sauce. In a pot melt butter on a low to medium heat.Pour 2-3 Tbs of flour and mix well with the butter. Then add in milk and keep stirring until the sauce is thick and lastly add cheese(I used Mozzarella) and stir for another few minutes and turn off the heat.Remove from the stove and cool the sauce. 6)Boil the Cannelloni till half of thoroughly cooked 7)Now prepare a casserole. In another small bowl, pour the pasta sauce, salt, pepper and oregano or Italian herbs and mix well. 8)Back in the casserole, pour the pasta sauce and spread nicely all over the casserole 9)Now Arrange the pre-boiled cannelloni but make sure not to put them fully on top of the sauce 10)Hold the cannelloni with hand, and now scoop the beef filling and fill inside the cannelloni nicely until full 11)Now put the cannelloni fully on top of the sauce. 12)On top of the cannelloni pour the white sauce and spread nicely covering all the cannellonis. 13)Bake in the oven for around 25 minutes and for the last 5 minutes change the oven setting to the the top heat to turn the white sauce into a bit of  golden brown 14)Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and ready to dig in!

Recipe : Homemade Cooking

Salam guys,
We just got back home from our short trip to Italy, and I must say,we enjoyed it this time a lot more
 than last time!

I can't believe that I once called Italy a country with ugly buildings(that time my pregnancy hormones were up and down giving me a hard time :P).After that,I miss Italy terribly, especially its food so we decided to drive there last weekend.

Well,I still have to first finish my updates on Swiss, and later on Italy.

But before that, here is another update on my homemade cooking.I hope you will get some idea on what to cook for dinner tonight haha.

Creamy Chicken and Mushroom Casserole

I came across this recipe on youtube by a famous cooking blogger www.natashaskitchen.com.
This chicken recipe was a hit and such a recipe to keep.It is so creamy, eaten with tagliatelle to tone down the creaminess of the chicken.
This recipe is also good if you don't want to turn your kitchen into chaos :P

Here goes the summary of the recipe

1.First coat chicken breast cut into medium-sized pieces with flour.2.Heat oil in a skillet and cook the chicken until golden brown.3.Now scrap the remaining of the flour and oil,and cook the mushroom cut into slices and diced onion until golden brown.4.Arrange the chicken in a casserole followed by mushroom on top.5.In the same skillet, heat some butter until it melts.6.Add in 2-3 Tbs of flour and keep stirring.7.Add in cooking cream and keep stirring till the white sauce is thick on slow heat.8.Add in crushed garlic,a bit of lemon juice, chicken broth(I dilute a chicken cube in water),salt and pepper, mix well and turn off the heat.9.Now,pour the sauce on top of the mushroom in the casserole.10.Into the oven for 30 minutes or so at 180 degrees.11.Serve with pasta, bread or even rice!

Nasi Goreng Paprik

My favourite menu if I eat in a local gerai or Malay restaurant in Malaysia.

For my beef/chicken paprik recipe

1.Heat a few Tbs of oil in a pan.2.Saute blended dried chilli (pre-boiled) until fragrant and cooked.3Add in kicap manis/sweet soy sauce, ketchup, chilli sause and a bit of oyster sauce.4.Keep stirring until the gravy boils and now add the pre-boiled beef or chicken, followed by veggies like carrot, cauliflower, green beans and also red onion, add water as well a little bit.5.To give the aroma of the paprik, add bay leaves/daun limau purut and crushed lemongrass.6.Season with salt and turn off the heat.

For the fried rice recipe

1.Crush red onion and garlic using pestle and mortar/lesung batu.2.Heat the oil in a pan and saute the crushed onion/garlic until fragrant.3.Add in few Tbs of oyster sauce, keep stirring and pour in the pre-cooked white rice.4.Add mixed veggies(carrot, corn and peas)and season with salt and pepper.

Pandan Cupcakes

I am always a fan of pandan-infused food.In Malaysia,we have a lot of kuih made using the pandan extract that gives such a natural green color to the dish, and the taste of pandan makes everything good :)

Lately,I came across many pictures of pandan cupcakes, some even infused the cupcake with gula melaka/palm brown sugar to suit people's tastebud and cupcakes is generally known by many people in this world.

I tried making my own pandan cupcakes lately, instead of infusing the gula melaka inside the cupcakes,I pour the melted gula melaka on top of the whipped cream and garnish with dried coconut flakes to give more "malay" element in this dish.

The pandan cupcakes can be found everywhere on the internet.

Nasi Lemak

Once a while I will have a craving for Nasi Lemak. It's Malaysia's signature food, eaten everywhere at any time by anyone in Malaysia,be it Malay,Chinese or even Indian.

Well, the secret to good nasi lemak is its rice and sambal.

Here goes my nasi lemak recipe my version.

For Nasi Lemak

I used Basmathi Rice because it's cheap here,a good amount of coconut milk, crushed lemongrass, pandan leaves and a bit of salt

For Sambal

This is quite tricky, because let's say, everyone's tastebud for sambal might be different.People might explain the best sambal tastes like this and that, while others might explain it something else.
Here is my way of cooking Sambal for Nasi Lemak.

1.Blend Red onion,garlic,ginger.2Pre-boil dried chillis and later blend well using blender.3.In a pan, heat a few Tbs of oil and saute the blended onion until cook. Now pour the blended dried chillis and cook well until pecah minyak. The amount of blended onion and dried chilli must be in ratio of 1:1. 4.Cook all well on low heat and this might take a while until you see the oil is on top. This means your sambal is thoroughly cooked.5.Now pour some tamarind paste, adjust the sourness of the sambal well by adding salt and sugar.6.Add in crushed lemongrass, cook for few more minutes and turn off the heat.

Mini Murtabak

I'm sure that once a while leaving far far away from Malaysia makes Malaysians abroad miss this dish. It's murtabak!Well, don't say you've never been to Pasar Malam, because you might miss a lot of its goodness!
Well, other than the original version of making murtabak, which is time-consuming and I might add, talent is a must because not everyone can make the wrapping that is soft and tastes good(Me :P).So this is a short-cut way and I was so satisfied.I used Spring Roll wrappers/Kulit popia!!

How genius is the person who invented this murtabak short-cut version!

For the murtabak filling

1.Heat a few Tbs of oil in a pan.2.Saute diced onion until golden brown.3.Add small pieces of beef and cook well with the onion.4.And then add in the beef curry paste(Mix curry powder with water) and cook some more.5.Add in diced boiled potato.6.Season with salt, sugar and pepper.

For the wrapping process

1.Pop eggs inside the beef curry filling and chop some cellery leaves or daun sup to give some aroma.2.Put the filling in the middle and wrap the popia skin nicely.3.Shallow fry in the pan for a few minutes until mini murtabak turns golden brown.4.Serve with onion and vinegar, curry gravy or chilli sauce.

Apam Balik

Another pasar malam dish that I miss sometimes too is Apam Balik!I was always mesmerized by how the people who sell this dish at Pasar Malam or Pasar Tani make them. While waiting for Apam Balik to cook,I would observe how they do it.But I was always unsatisfied of how much sweet creamy corn they put as the filling inside the apam haha :P
I make Apam Balik at home occasionally too,and every year I will bring back one can of sweet creamy corn from Malaysia specially for making this, because I cannot find such corn here or elsewhere in Europe.

For the batter

1.Whisk 1 egg and half cup of sugar till frothy.2.Add in 1 1/2 cup of water and keep mixing.3.Add 2 cups of flour, half tsb of baking powder and half tsp of soda bicarbonate.4.Let it rest for at least one hour before use.

Bihun Sup Ayam

This is a comfort food during cold season especially with the spicy kick of the sambal kicap!
Easy peasy recipe as well.

For the chicken soup recipe

1.Saute Cinnamon stick(Kulit kayu manis, star anise(Bunga lawang),clove(Bunga cengkih) and cardamom(Buah pelaga) and sup bunjut followed by onion, garlic and ginger.2.Add chicken, mix well until thoroughly cooked.3.Add water as much as you want.4.Add carrot, cellerie, and potato and cook for a while.5.Add a bit of Soup powder(I bought Adabi brand),a chicken cube, salt and pepper.6.Simmer for a while and turn off the heat

For Sambal Kicap Johor

1.Using Pestle and Mortar, crush Garlic and a lot of green chillis(As I am a coward of spiciness,I use less hot green chillis :P).2.Put in a condiment bowl, add kicap manis,a bit of the soup, salt and sugar.

Recipe : Homemade Cooking

Hello guys,

We're back in the new segment by me,my homemade cooking :P
I think this is also a good idea for me to keep track of my cookings and to keep my recipes here because I,as a normal human being tends to forget things sometimes even if the recipe is easy peasy, especially when I rarely cook those dishes.

One pot pasta wonder

This is an easy peasy recipe :P.There is no specific ingredients on what you can dump inside the pot,as long as they make a good combination with one another,it would be a good meal. This recipe is inspired by a pasta meal in ikea here that I like so much, normally I ate with steamed salmon at Ikea, but at home,I make a salmon teriyaki,it went well with this pasta anyway.

My one pot pasta recipe

I dumped shell-typed pasta, cauliflower, carrot, peas, paprika powder,a lil bit of turmeric to give yellowish color, cooking cream, water, salt and pepper.Bring the ingredients in the pot to a boil and check the softness consistency of the pasta from time to time.A mark to know whether you pasta is ready or not is when it gets creamy and the water is all soaked by the pasta and other ingredients.

One tip to how much water should be added is when it covers the surface of the ingredients.

Chicken Paprikash/Hungarian chicken stew.

It was simply yummy and such a recipe to keep

 Methods

First saute the chicken breast cut into medium size until 3/4 cooked. And transfer the chicken onto a place. In the same pot, saute diced brown onion, diced tomato and paprika/capsicum until fragrant and soft.Add back the chicken and keep mixing for a few minutes.Add some water and thick tomato paste and make sure to cook on medium heat. And don't forget the main ingredient, the paprika powder as much as you like.Keep stirring and pour a dollop or two of plain yogurt or greek yogurt, lastly season with salt and pepper.

 Honey Chicken Chipotle ala Chilli's

This is a new trial recipe by me.Being a lover of Chilli's Honey Chicken Chipotle,I always wanted to try this recipe out.I didn't know where to get Chipotle sauce or powder at first, only to find the sauce sold in local supermarket here under the "USA Food Section".

My HCC was a hit, tasted 99.999% same as the original one at Chilli's.I was so happy :)

Fig Galette

I made a very easy Fig Galette because the fig season is in!This is another recipe to keep

For the dough

1 cup of flour mixed using hand with 6 Tbs of chilled butter into crumbs.Add a pinch of salt and lastly 3-4 Tbs of cold ice water and keep kneading until the dough doesn't stick to the hand anymore, keep refrigerated for one hour before using.

For the filling

Cream cheese mixed with a few Tsp of maple syrup and fig slices.Spread the cream cheese on the dough and later cover with the fig, into the oven for around 20 minutes at 180 degrees!

Laksa Johor

I just have to admit,I think laksa johor is the best laksa in Malaysia haha.Since I tried it the first time at a friend's house lately,I am hooked.I googled the recipe, the original version is a tad bit too difficult and many of the ingredients are not easy to find here. So,I googled for the perantauan version, and I found a very easy recipe with ingredients that  can easily be found here

If you wanna try this easy version here goes

Method
Blend boiled dried chillis, red onion, garlic and ginger.Make a curry paste(both beef/chicken or fish are ok,I used fish curry paste) by adding a bit of water,a bit of cumin and corriander powder.First in a pot, heat some oil and saute the curry paste until fragrant and cooked. And then add the blended ingredients and cook for a while until the chilli is cooked.Later in the same blender, blend tuna in a can and some shrimps, but leave some chunky part, don't overblend. Now add the tuna and shrimp in the pot and mix well.If the gravy is too thick, add some water. Then add coconut milk,3-4 Tbs of kerisik,2 pieces of asam gelugur, season with salt and a bit pepper.Voila!

Bread and Butter Pudding

I have been baking this dish for years now,and it has become my husband's favourite as well.Well,I believe at every household toast bread is a must. But sometimes we forget to eat it and by the time we want to eat it,it already approaches its expire date.Fret not,try my BBP

Methods

In a pot melt the butter on a medium heat.Later add milk, sugar and egg and a few drops of vanilla essence. In a caserole, tear the toast into 4 pieces and arrange in the casserole. Now,pour the milk batter into the casserole until it covers the surface of the bread.Let the bread soak the milk for at least 5 minutes.Scatter the almond slices and choc chip on top, into the oven for around 30 minutes at 180 degree celcius until the bread turns golden brownish.

Recipe : Home Cooked Meals by Me

Since the weather gets colder these days,I have started to eat a lot more than usual especially comfort warm food, but I was also not so eager to prepare the food since it is quite cold inside the house,so being in the kitchen for some time seems like a torture to me :P

Here are some home cooked compilations by me last week since coming back from Barcelona.

Mee Hailam

I found a gem in a japanese store in Frankfurt Suburb a few weeks ago which is mee kuning!
I bought 3 packets and used one to make mee hailam,my old favourite mee with gravy during my university days.

My mee hailam version

Saute red onion, garlic and ginger(all blended well using blender) until fragrant.Add chicken and cook for a while until it is cooked thouroughly.Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of blended dried chilli paste(I boiled the dried chilli before blend it)and cook well.Add kicap manis, ketchup, chilli sauce,a bit of oyster sauce, chicken cube and some water and cook for a while.Add the veggies(I used cabbage, and carrot) and pop 2 eggs inside the gravy and let them cook for a while.Season with salt and a bit of black pepper.Lastly add the mee kuning and voila!

Homemade pizza

Our family's favourite because it's easy to prepare.Oh,for the pizza dough,we used the store-bought only :P.Well I do make the dough from scratch sometimes, and will share the recipe once I make it in the future.

I always like Pineapple in my pizza, and I used canned pineapple because of its sweetness goes perfectly with tomato paste for the base of the pizza and the melted mozarella cheese.I prefer to use mozzarella for our pizza because it is stretchable once it melted.

Nasi kerabu perantau

My all-time favourite, and I'm sure favourite of many people in Malaysia too,a missed menu for many malaysians overseas.

Fret not, this is actually can be prepared at home in a convenient and easier way.

For the sambal kelapa
I used canned tuna in sunflower oil(omit the oil),dessicated coconut from the asian shop(fry without oil until it turns brownish),chopped lemongrass and chopped onion.Add all ingredients in a bowl(better to use spoon instead of mixing using hand),season with salt and don't forget sugar.

 For the Sambal Tumis
Blend red onion, garlic and ginger.Saute in a pan for a while.Add 4-5 tablespoons of blended dried chilli paste and cook for a while until "pecah minyak".Add Turmeric powder a lil bit to give the yellowish color.Add coconut milk and keep stirring until the oil comes on top. This will take a while until the sambal tumis really looks good and appealing, but make sure to always stir and always cook on medium heat only.Add lemongrass and a few of asam gelugur, season with salt and sugar.

Spaghetti Bolognese

Also another family's favorite that I must cook at least once per month.

My version of Spaghetti Bolognese

Roast the minced meat in a pan,and add in diced red onion.Keep roasting until the minced meat turns brownish.Add chopped tomato and some thick tomato paste.Keep stirring,at this point I sometimes also add some boiled water from the spaghetti pot I cook.Pour a bottle of pasta sauce(store bought),add oregano plus salt and black pepper.Adjust taste if  necessary.

Recipe : Homemade Cooking by Me!

Since I have started blogging in 2011,the direction of this blog has changed few times. From focusing solely on fashion to mixed-up themes including my recipes to story about my life after marriage to life after having kid,and lately travel has somehow became the main ingredient of this blog.

But I also have another interest actually.I love cooking.Since becoming a homemaker since 2 years ago,I have devoted myself to homemade cooking a lot than I did before I was married.

I am happy that I have time to cook for my family because I believe that homemade cooking is the best!

So,from now on,once a week,I will post pictures of the food I cook for a week, and I will also share some of the recipes here.

So,here goes some of my cooking for this week.

I cooked Asam Pedas Salmon for the second time in my life. But,on the next day,I pan seared the Salmon and a little bit of asam pedas gravy until the belacan smell tang hit my nose :P
It's almost similar like portuguese grill, only the salmon was seared on the pan for about 10 minutes on medium simmer.

Amd Sambal Belacan is a must for me.This is not really the real sambal belacan, this is kelantanese version of sambal belacan(In fact the recipe doesn't use belacan but I used a lil bit)

Here goes the recipe : Red hot chillies, green hot chillies, vinegar, sugar, salt, and a pinch of belacan.Blend all well using blender and keep refrigerated for better kick!

Baked Smoked Salmon and Broccoli macaroni. Before this, I always cooked pasta using the salmon fillet, one time i tried creamy pasta with smoked salmon and I dare to say that pasta with smoked salmon tastes better!

This has always been our family's favourite,Butter Chicken Masala.Had it the first time at an Indian Restaurant in Berlin 2 years ago, since then I always cooked it myself at home. Can simply be eaten with basmathi rice or naan

My version of Butter Chicken Masala

Chicken breast cut into small pieces.Marinate it with garlic(crushed),ginger(crushed),garam masala, cumin(jintan putih),Corriander powder(serbuk ketumbar),chilli powder and plain yogurt or greek yogurt for better taste for few hours.

In a pan, heat the butter and once it melts, add diced red onion, saute for a few minutes and later add in the marinated chicken.Cook for a while until the chicken juice comes out and the chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Add in tomato paste, and whipping cream/cooking cream and cook on low simmer for a while before serving.Don't forget to season with salt and pepper before turn off the heat.

Pandan Churros!
Tried it the first time but to be honest I was not so satisfied.First I don't have a bigger-sized nozzle,so the churros are quite thin in size.Second,I don't know what gives, but the pandan flavor is not so strong and almost no pandan taste detected.Maybe I should increase the pandan paste next time.
